Why would Nazareth's official site slag off a founding member?
Then again, why would Manny go on tour as 'Nazareth' with three unknown, non-founding-members?
I'm gonna stir things further here.

Can I play Devils advocate?
I have given my allegience over to the Manny Charlton
camp. I can say with all honesty I'm not impressed with
that cover tribute band that calls itself Nazareth.
or should I say
"Nazareth with founding members Dan and Pete"
It sort of has a nice ring to it , Don't you think?
I'm definately not sure where Rob is getting his information from and I can only laugh at his smugness and arrogance.

Why are Billy and Zal behind Manny and agree with what he
is doing?
Why has it taken 17 years for Manny and Nazareth to get a
final divorce?

Why do the fans keep speculating and making ridulous assumptions?
Wouldn't die-hard fans pay to hear an alternative featuring the guy who played and co-wrote the originals?
Billy, How come Dan and Pete don't have your music contributions in the setlist?
Does anyone out there really know the true laws about copyright, trademark, ownership etc....

Manny is a part of "Nazareth Dunfermline", 1 of 4 owners
Manny has played, produced and co-wrote most of the fans favourites which by the way are in the main setlist of present day Nazareth.
The Nazareth forum slagging off Manny for not having played with the band for so many years as reason for him not to collect or profit from what is rightfuly his in the first place.
Manny Charlton's Nazareth
does sound OK, but so does
Dan And Pete's Nazareth
I think it's only fair to the fans to state up front that it is a different band to Nazareth.
Its been a different band to Nazareth since the day they fired Manny.
With no disrespect or malice to Billy or Jimmy and their
involvement with Nazareth it has not been the same band
As for it not being Nazareth without Dan McCafferty singing is bullshit also.
As long as they perform without the four original members it will never be Nazareth again.
Dan McCafferty is not Nazareth
Nazareth are all 4 Founding members each playing their part together.

Get used to the new tiles this might be the future for all parties.

Anyhoo, I wrote among others, 'Dream On', 'Love Leads to Madness','Games', 'Preservation' & 'Take the Rap' from '2XS', a similar amount from 'Sound Elixer' and almost all of 'No Jive' & 'Move Me'.
Naz's set list alway's include's at least one of the above so 'Nazareth featuring Dan & Pete'..(Love it!) do feature my contributions, ok?
You're doing a grand job keeping my blogs as the most added to of all the jocks here at Rock Radio.
