My life is f**king great! Look through the stuff below and find out my views on life and the world. I think it's interesting so don't really care if you get bored or not....but it's below all the same.

One of the Good Guys

Posted on Friday 11 April

Stuart Adamson would have been 50 today.

I was lucky enough to be a friend of his and he was the nicest guy you could ever want to know.

Nuff said.

I remember the day I heard the news about his death. He was a wonderful musician. He is sadly missed.

Billy, can you re-tell your story about Stuart?

(The one about the young fan and Stuarts pedal.)

It was tear-jerkin and funny too.

I'd love to hear it again, please????

For George, and those who missed my tale on air.

Nazareth and Big Country rehearsed in the same Dunfermline studios in the early 90's.

A young fan wearing a BC t-shirt was hanging around outside in the rain so I let Stuart know.

Big Stu brought him in and demonstrated his 'Bag-Pipe' guitar technique while the kid shook with excitement.

He then gave him a go on the axe explaining the 'sound' was created using a pedal called an 'Octivider'.

When the fan asked where he could get such a device, Stuart bent down, unplugged it and handed it over saying, 'Knock yourself oot son, it's yours.'

As the overjoyed fan left clutching the 'magic pedal', Stu turned to me and asked......

'Where the fuck am I gonna get another one for Friday?'
