Play Don't Worry

Posted on Thursday 8 May

Last week saw the 15th anniversary of the death of Mick Ronson.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mick along with Trevor and Woody from The Spiders.

Hey, I even got to BE Mick at the Hammy Odeon with Joe Elliott filling in for Mr 'Oh, I can't be bothered' Bowie!

It's my intention to keep Mick's memory alive at Rock Radio so gimme some suggestions of his finest recordings and I'll play them on my show, ok?

'ANGEL No. 9'....Mick's version, or yours and Joe's.

Get it onto Rock Radio, now!

How about Width of a Circle from Man who sold the World?

How do you mean Bowie couldn't be bothered?

Is he an Arsehole?

Please say 'No'!

Only After Dark's a good one from Slaughter on 10th Avenue.

Nothin fancy, but it fairly belts along.
