We could get a verdict in the Vicky Hamilton murder trial today.The judge is giving final directions to the jury before sending them out to make a decision.The prosecution told Dundee High Court yesterday the evidence against Peter Tobin was 'damning'.But the 62 year old's defence lawyers say there's no evidence he ever met the 15 year old.Vicky disappeared in Bathgate back in 1991 - Tobin denies all the charges against him.

There are more police on Scotland's streets than ever before.The Scottish Government say the total of just over 16 and half thousand is the highest ever recorded.There's 292 more officers since March last year, according to the latest figures.Strathclyde saw the highest rise with 137 extra bobbies.
